Time-line of the Patriarchs

 

This table gives comparative ages of five persons written about in Genesis.

 

Ages are calculated by using scripture references as a skeleton for other ages. Other ages are derived by using other criteria not mentioned in the book, for example, Lot was the second child of Haran. If Haran was 28 years old when he had his daughter Milcah, he could have been 29 years old when he had his son Lot.
